“I'm on a week's holiday based in Tiblisi, Georgia. I feel like I've exhausted Tiblisi. The option of a day trip to Armenia popped up. So why not?! Quite an eye opener, some ex Soviet remnants, rugged scenery, earthquake damage, monestaries, MIG 21 and an excellent Armenian meal”

“The agency was very kind to continue the trip even though there were not enough guests on the trip. They still provided us with a tour guide, transportation and they even prepared a sumptuous Armenian homemade lunch. We visited, the Akthala, Sanahin and Haghpat Monasteries, which are very stunning. They have interesting history and we are very amazed of how these places are maintained. Also, a good value for money. Highly recommended if you do not have enough time/days to tour.”

5.Lake Sevan Gourmet Day Trip with Tastings and Lunch

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 2 reviews · 8 hours · from $229

Lake Sevan monastery, khachkars, cheese and wine tastings, and a fresh fish lunch in one 8-hour gourmet day trip from Yerevan.

“Our guide, Hamlet, was a fount of knowledge. His caring attitude and quiet, soothing speech was pleasant to hear. He was very patient and made special stops so that my wife could take a thousand pictures of everything, horse, cows, cats, dogs, the amazing landscapes and impressive architecture. We HD a lot of questions about daily life and quality of living here. The cheese tasting, incredibly fresh fish and lunch, the winery tour and tastings were all very grand. We had a simply divine day. Our souls were touched by the hardships of the people and how they have overcome to live full and blessed lives.”
